Ability to share something/share with note on Google Reader for my followers.
The whole point of Google Reader is the social aspect and the community "content curation". IIn addition to not being able to VIEW other people's shares, it kinda sucks having to fire up the web interface for this.

Enable Safari 5's "Reader" mode inside of NNW tabs
The new "Reader" mode in Safari 5 is really great, and I'm already finding myself copying URLs out of NNW tabs into Safari so I can use it. It would be better if the URL bar in NNW just showed the "Reader" button. I'm not sure if this is a re-usable component in Safari or not, however...

"Undo"-like function or history list
Often when I'm reading I'll only realize 2 or 3 items later that I wanted to read/click to/flag an item, and if I've moved between feeds or folders, it may be hard to find that item.
So it would be nice if there were some way to walk back through items I've just read, either with something like an Undo, which steps back through read items and marks them unread, or a history list (maybe a type of special subscription) that shows the last n items I've read, and from where I can mark an item as unread, flag it,… more46 votes -
Sync Google Alerts from Google Reader
This may be a bug. My Google News Alerts in Google Reader do not sync with my Mac or iPhone versions o NetNewsWire. It would be very helpful if they did.

automatically download embedded images before selecting news items, and keep them
I'd like to view images inside news items, without waiting for them after clicking the news item. It would be useful when you refresh the subscriptions, NNW would download the whole news items, not only enclosures, but also images. And of course keeping them for offline reading. It would be nice wouldn't it? P.S. Sorry for my rough english.

hide feeds/subscription that don't contain any unread items
i have a load of feeds that are subscriptions that rarely updated. I
don't want to see them unless something new pops up.

Sync sort order of folders and feeds with Google Reader
Syncing the order of folders and feeds with Google Reader would enable me to get the same custom order on my iPhone and iPad.
